The proving ground

The Arena

A purpose-built, open-air coliseum where the tournament’s past stands over every current fight.

Battle of the Badasses

Thirty-two combatants enter a tournament built to leave a record.

Battle of the Badasses is an elimination tournament of iconic combatants. Season V divides the active field across four locked brackets and stages every official contest in one permanent Arena.

Open-air capacity

A purpose-built coliseum open to the sky, with no roof above the combat floor or primary bowl.

120 ft

Combat floor

A perfect circular field, 120 feet across and 60 feet from center to perimeter.

Champion monuments

Four granite pillars carry monuments to The Bride, The Man With No Name, Ash, and Darth Vader—the champions of the first four seasons.

The combat floor

A circle built around cover, sightlines, and consequence.

Hard-packed earth sits beneath one to two inches of loose sand and dirt. The four 16-foot granite pillars form a centered 50-foot-square network—hard cover and line-of-sight control around the open central kill zone.

Entries & crowd

North to south.

Combatants enter through opposing North and South gates. Roughly eight-foot retaining walls define the floor boundary; the front rows remain exposed to the force and fallout of the contest.

Light & weather

The sky stays in the fight.

Sunlight, shadows, wind, and rain are genuine Arena conditions. At 10:00 PM, the Nightly Primus is lit by torches, braziers, and the perimeter Ring of Fire—not stadium floodlights.
